Your Diagnosis Is Not Your Prognosis

We can be told we are many things. We may have a condition, an illness or a challenge other people around us do not have. It may be a problem, a situation or a circumstance. It could be a role, a label or an outcome. Whatever it is we are told we are or have, or whatever we think we are or we have, our diagnosis is not our prognosis. Possibility and potential are always bigger than a problem, perceived or real. Our only limits are the ones we place on ourselves. We stay what we say we are. A victim stays a victim until they believe they were victimised and they have become a survivor. What happened is not who we are. What we did is not who we are. If we can dream it, we can do it. We might not know how, but we don’t need to. We just need to be open, open to the possibility and our potential. Your diagnosis is not your prognosis.
