You Will Never Be 100% Ready

When a lifestyle change is required, when you think you want to do something different, when you want to step out of your (dis)comfort zone, there will be many reasons not to start. There is never a good time to stop smoking, to have a sober month or to start an exercise routine. There will always be a reason not to prioritise sleep (and it’s required routine) or to find the half an hour to go for a walk. There’s never enough time, there’s always something happening, there’s always an event coming up or another weekend to start after. Life continues to happen no matter what you do. There will always be a challenging time where you want to eat less healthy choices, there will always be social even when you wanted to not drink. You will never be 100% ready for any change. You just need to make the change and let life continue to unfold as it will anyway. Why wait till Monday? Why wait till the 1st of the month? Why wait for anything? The longer you wait, the longer you delay the change you really want. Tomorrow never comes. Make a decision to start today, after all you will never be 100% ready.
