When It Feels More Difficult, Be More Gentle

We’ve all been there. When something gets harder and we get frustrated and we try and force it. Our patience wanes and we just want it done. When things get more difficult the best response is to become more gentle. Less forceful, less frustrated. Easier said than done, but as with anything it is possible with practice. It could be a practical task, a solution for a problem, an interaction with another person or even just the dialogue and self-talk inside your own mind. Whatever the situation or circumstance the same principle can apply and be helpful. Whether it’s with yourself, with others or in life: When it feels more difficult, be more gentle.
