Sometimes we hit it out of the park, we smash it. We somehow achieve something huge and it’s amazing. These home runs don’t happen every day, they are the exception rather than the rule. It’s the small daily habits that make up the foundations for consistent achievement. The seemingly unimportant is actually the most important. It’s the water we drink, the nutrition we choose, the movement we make, the sleep and rest we prioritise. It’s choosing to work on our goals every day, even if it’s just a few more small steps forward. When we take a few steps forward we are making progress. The days we choose not to we stagnate or even regress. Achievement drives self-esteem. Being brave drives self-confidence. Being proud of ourselves drives self-love. It’s the small steps that lead to strides. Small daily habits are more important than infrequent home runs.
