Commit to Commitment

If we can’t commit to giving something serious and consistent effort for at least six months, we are setting ourselves up for failure. Success and achievement take time. We now live in a world where everything is instant. Its downloaded, it’s delivered the next day. It’s unfortunately eroded our skills in patience. Being patient, being consistent and being committed even when we are not seeing results is what eventually delivers results. You can’t always see your destination when you are travelling to it, sometimes you can’t even see the road you are travelling on. You know you will get there eventually, even if you don’t know when that will be. Much is the same with dreams and goals. When you commit to it, you’re consistent and serious with effort you will get there if you just don’t stop. It’s always more motivating when you see results along the way, unfortunately this won’t always happen to help us. Commit to commitment
